The Ayush Department, Haryana, Youth and Sports Wing of Haryana, and the Patanjali Yoga Centre of Jhojhu Kalan in Haryana jointly organised a program to celebrate the 4th annual International Yoga Day.

The program was launched by igniting the inaugural lamp by Block Development and Panchayat Officer Mr. Narendra Sharma, of Jhunjhukalan, Haryana; BK Vasudha, Kadma area Centre in-charge; Mr. Dhan Singh Shyoran, Block Education Officer, Sarpanch; Mr. Dalveer Singh Gandhi; Surendra Shastri; and Yoga Teacher Mr. Bishan Singh Arya.

On this occasion Mr. Narendra Sharma said that Yoga is necessary for total development of all people in health, happiness, peace and prosperity. He said that we can keep our body healthy by physical activities but Raja Yoga provides proper direction to our mind.

Rajyogini BK Vasudha was specially invited for this event. While directing the group in meditation, she said that Raja Yoga is itself an auspicious meeting of the soul and the Supreme Soul, God, by which the soul becomes all powerful. She said that in Raja Yoga we take our minds towards positivity. By regular practice it becomes easy to create a chain of only positive thoughts. The mind becomes free from negative, unholy thoughts and becomes powerful, holy and virtuous.

Mr. Dhan Singh Shyoran, Block Education Officer, said Yoga must be an inseparable part of our lives by which our body becomes healthy and our mind becomes peaceful and cool.

Mr. Dalbir Singh Gandhi, Sarpanch, said that Yoga fills the atmosphere with positive vibrations. He expressed his gratitude to all those who attended the event

At the end the Patanjali Organisation felicitated our BK sisters.
