Brahma Kumaris Honored at Diabetes Awareness Camp in Hathras

A “Sweet Diabetes Awareness Camp” for four days was arranged by Brahma Kumaris at their Centre, Shanti Dham in Anandpuri Colony, Hathras (Uttar Pradesh). It was inaugurated by Mr. Ashish Sharma, Municipal Chairman, as a Chief Guest and Dr. Valsalan Nair was the main Speaker on the subject of Diabetes and its dangerous effects on our health.

For the first two days, Rajyogini BK Prem from Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, explained the importance of Raja Yoga, Spiritual Knowledge and Pure Vegetarian Food to achieve Purification of Mind.

On the last day, Mr. Brajesh Rathod, District Chief Medical Officer, and the District Health Education Officer Mr. Chatur Singh attended the closing session.

The CMO thanked all members of the Brahma Kumaris Organisation for their tireless and selfless services to the society. He was specially thankful for their efforts to educate people that Diabetes can be cured by taking proper care of food norms.

Mr. Chatur Singh said that the Government Health Department also guides patients in taking care of their health but the organizers of such Awareness Camps are no doubt truly praiseworthy.

Dr. R.C. Gulati and Dr. Anjali Gulati congratulated Brahma Kumaris Organisation for such a Divine Camp and shared their’s and the patient’s experiences from this program.

On behalf of the Inner Wheel Club Mrs. Radha Gave, President of the Club, Mrs. Deepa Chadda and Mrs. Jyoti honored Dr. Valsalan Nair and BK Shanta, Shanti Dham in Charge.

BK Shanta presented Godly Gifts to Dr. Brajesh Rathod, Dr. Chatur Singh, Dr. Harsh Garg and Shubham as a Memorial. She gave to all the participants, their days Blood Sugar Report, Blessing Cards and Toli (holy sweet). Lastly she extended her gratitude and thanked everyone for making this Camp a grand success.
