“Brahma Kumaris are working with full force to bring A New Golden Era” Says MP

Jammu: A program on “Global Enlightenment For Golden Age” was conducted at the main centre of the Brahma Kumaris on BC Road in Jammu.

Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament (MP), was the chief guest in the program. In his address, he said that the Brahma Kumaris have taken a beautiful initiative to uproot the vices like anger, lust, ego, greed, attachment, jealousy, hatred, revengeful behavior, etc., from the society and is working with full force to bring in the divine values in order to establish the Golden Age, a new era free from corruption, unrighteousness and violence.

The guest of honor Ravinder Raina, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former MLA, expressed that “I’ve learnt today that we talk about the people, society, country and then the world should change but it is not possible until we change ourselves.”

Manish Sharma, former Vice Chairperson, JAKFED, said that the Brahma Kumaris are working on each and every field of the society. Its effort towards transforming the world will surely come out with brilliant colours. This organisation is working on transforming the self and inculcating divine values in order to establish a beautiful new era that is the Golden Age.

Rajyogini BK Asha Didi Ji, Director, Om Shanti Retreat Centre, Northern India Campus of Brahma Kumaris, Chairperson of Administrators’ Wing, said that the seeds of happiness and sorrow are none other than our own thoughts. “In order to attain a desired happiness in life we need to know ourselves, we need to educate our mind about the quality of thoughts it creates throughout the whole day. A human being is what he or she thinks,” she added.

BK Kusum Lata conducted a mass meditation for the whole gathering through a guided commentary. The audience deeply experienced peace of mind. BK Sudershan, Director of the Brahma Kumaris in Jammu, welcomed all the guests and gave her divine blessings. The inauguration of the program was done with the lighting of the lamp. Little children presented a welcome dance before the audience. A huge number of people from all walks of life from the State participated in this program. All the participants appreciated this unique effort by the Brahma Kumaris for the global enlightenment for Golden Age. A vote of thanks was presented by the stage secretary, BK Ravinder.
