Shanti Sarovar- Raipur

The retreat centre of Shanti Sarovar in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh state in central India, came to existence in 1994.

True to its name, which means lake of peace, Shanti Sarovar is a place where peace is realised easily. People come here to gain new insights into the self and enjoy the silence and solitude. It is also a place to meet others interested in integrating spirituality into their daily lives. The beautiful nine-acre campus is a perfect place to take a break from the frantic pace of modern life and rediscover one’s inner peace and power.

The retreat centre hosts a variety of events and courses that help the participants use spiritual principles in their personal, social and professional lives to achieve a happy state of mind, harmonious relationships and better efficiency at work. The retreats serve a broad spectrum of the community, including individuals from the fields of business, engineering, health, education, media and social service, and women and youth.

All the retreats are led by experienced facilitators who give their time freely to help the participants make the inner changes necessary for experiencing fulfilment and contentment in life. Apart from the lectures and workshops, the pure vegetarian food served at the campus and the beautiful lawns and peaceful atmosphere of the place contribute to the process of self-empowerment.

Shanti Sarovar has state-of-the-art facilities for learning, a 2,000-seat auditorium, a 300-seat seminar hall, a meditation room and accommodation for 200 people. Transport is provided for local sight-seeing.
