Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Lays Foundation Stone of Rajayoga Center

The Foundation Stone for the Brahma Kumaris “Raja Yoga Training and Residential Retreat Centre” was laid by Dr. Raman Singh, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh at Barfani Ashram in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.

There are 600 Brahma Kumaris Centres in Chhattisgarh functioning under the Head Quarters at Mount Abu, Rajasthan. They proposed to construct Raja Yoga Training and Residential Retreat Centre in Rajnandgaon for which the Laying of the Foundation Stone (Bhoomi Pooja and Shilanyas) was done by the Honorable Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh.

On this auspicious occasion the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said, “The services rendered by the members of Brahma Kumaris Organisation to enhance goodwill in the society is highly praiseworthy. They try to create and develop social unity. They are serving with their Heart and Soul to fully eliminate tension and grief from Human Life and revive the moral values in the society. Therefore I sanction an amount of Rs. 15 lakhs to help them in their Holy Mission.”

This Training and Retreat Centre is a great achievement in this Zone for the District of Rajnandgaon and the entire State of Chhattisgarh.

In this project the Centre will have 4 floors with an Auditorium of 1500 seats, Residential accommodation for 200 Trainees, an Art gallery, a Meditation Hall, etc. To render Public services like Medical, Engineering, Social Activities, Transportation etc., twenty different wings of the Brahma Kumaris will be serving the society at the retreat center. It was a really great occasion for all.

BK Pushpa, Center In-charge of Brahma Kumaris in Rajnandgaon; BK Kamla, Regional Director of Indore Zone of Brahma Kumaris; and BK Hemlata, Regional Co-ordinator of Indore Zone, were present on this auspicious occasion.

As special guests Mr. Rajesh Munat, MLA, and Minister and in-Charge of Rajnandgaon District; Mr. Abhishek Singh MLA; Mr. Madhusudan Yadav, Mayor; Mrs. Neelu Sharma, President, Civil Supply Nigam; Mrs. Shobha Soni, President Child Welfare; Mr. Leelaram Bhojwani, former President Civil Supply Nigam, along with thousands of brothers and sisters of the Organization and many elite persons of the town were present on the occasion.

Local Centre in-Charge BK Pushpa welcomed all the guests and the public.
