Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh :

Dadi Janki, Global Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, recently inaugurated “Harmony House,” the newly built center of the Brahma Kumaris in Vishakhapatnam which stands facing the vast expanse of the Bay of Bengal. The inauguration coincided with the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the local center of the Brahma Kumaris, situated in the busy and posh area of Maharanipet, in Vishakhapatnam.

A day prior to the inauguration, seniors of the organization, who have been associated with the Brahma Kumaris for over 25 years, were felicitated with Dadi Janki’s blessings.

The next morning, more than 2,000 students of the Brahma Kumaris from all over Andhra Pradesh assembled at the local function hall, Gurjada Kalakshetram, Siripuram Junction, to extend a warm welcome to Dadi Janki and bask in her divine vibrations.

On the occasion, Dadi Janki was accompanied by BK Santosh and BK Godavari, both from Mumbai, and BK Hansa from Mount Abu. Present on the dais were BK Kuldeep from Shanti Sarovar, Hyderabad, BK Annapurna from Vijayanagaram, BK Rajani from Kakinada, BK Vijaya from Karimnagar, BK Sita, BK Veni, BK Manisha, and BK Shivalila.

At the commence of the program, divine verses of spiritual knowledge (Murli) were read by BK Santosh. BK Godavari spoke that the gathering reminds her of one in Madhuban, quoting the famous words of Dadi Prakash Mani (former Chief of the Brahma Kumaris) about how she has found her 3 precious stones, “Baba (Supreme Father), Murli and Madhuban” here, in Visakhapatnam.  She said that no regular student of the Brahma Kumaris should ever miss the Murli class, calling it the “food, breath and ornament for our lives.”

BK Sita said that to be able to fulfill and accomplish God’s mission, we must develop within unity, harmony and the quality to work together. Recalling Dadi Prakash Mani ji’s visit to Vishakhapatnam in 1982, BK Veni said that Dadi’s dream of seeing Visakhapatnam become a Vishal Dilwalal (large-hearted) stands true, today.

Amidst the packed auditorium, Dadi Janki was greeted with waving balloons, claps, cheers and a standing ovation – a scene short of words. The atmosphere reverberated with joy and happiness, as young and old, both, became childlike.

Dadi Janki began her address on the sweet note of Om Shanti (I am a peaceful soul), being joined by the gathering who repeated after her, “Mera Baba, Meetha Baba, Pyara Baba, Shukriya Baba” (My Father, Sweet Father, Loving Father, Thank you, Father). Dadi shared jewels of her wisdom and knowledge when she said that she is married to the One Father, who is big-hearted and He belongs to her, as does she. She said she has three children, namely: peace, happiness and love. Further, Dadi Janki said that she practices economy in her words, time, money, thoughts and speech and has never heard ill of others. She said that the service of humanity gives her immense happiness and she finds Allah, Ishwar – the Father, Mother, Teacher, Friend, and Preceptor – right before her, wherever she goes.

This was followed with the cutting of cake and beautiful dances performances by children, who were joined by the gathering, who swayed to the tunes of Godly intoxication.

The function which was well observed concluded with the offering of divine lunch and BK Shivalila, Centre in Charge and Program organizer, was blessed by Dadiji on this occasion.
