Global Eye Hospital to be modernised with the help of Japan
7.8 million Yen, nearly 70,000 American Dollars aid was sanctioned by the Japan Government to Global Hospital and Research Center towards the purchase of modern equipment for the eye treatment of poor patients. The agreement was signed at Embassy of Japan in New Delhi, between Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan and Dr.Partap Midha, Medical Director for the J. Watumull Global Hospital and Research Centre.
Machinery for operating Microcasco, Perimeter, Tonometer and Anesthesian Work stations will be installed by this aid at Global Hospital Institute of Opthamology located at Abu Road, Rajasthan where thousands of poor get free cataract treatment.
