A Bus Exhibition began with an aim to enlighten Indian citizens and awaken and inspire them to quit their various bad habits by explaining the harmful effects on their health and happiness in life. At the same time, the Exhibition’s purpose is to establish Equality and Integrity among the people of India by imparting the knowledge of the Self and God Realisation.

The Bus with the dedicated members of the Brahma Kumaris from Mount Abu were well received at Godugupeta, Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh (AP), by members of the local Brahma Kumaris Centers, staff, and students of various schools and colleges, NCC and NSS cadres, and the public, with lot of cheers and enthusiasm. BK Sisters and mothers carrying Poorna Kalash (holy pots) on their heads as a holy ritual, and youthful brothers with high spirits holding a banner with the National Flag and the Brahma Kumaris Flag on each side, led the Bus Rally carrying a large portrait of Bharat Mata throughout the town that was admired by all with awe, joy and curiosity.

Mr. Baba Prasad, Municipal Chairman, Political leaders Mr. Pantham Gajendra, Mr. Valishetti Malli, and others from different parties, joined the rally along with many reputed persons and general local residents of the town.

Later a Public Awareness Program was held at the Police Function Hall where — after welcoming the assembled audience — Rajyogi BK Sudhakar said that last year they started this Bus Exhibition on 12th August 2017 from the banks of the River Sabarmati in Ahmedabad to tour across the Indian continent for 3 years, to end in August 2020. He said, “So far we have traveled through thousands of villages, hundreds of cities and conducted 3456 Public Awareness Programs, inspired and motivated nearly 6,00,000 youths to leave their bad habits and addictions. Today after completing 32,000 km of a long journey we have reached your town.” He said that from the school-going age one should learn discipline and good conduct to become a good human being. In this matter parents and teachers must take special interest to guide their children.

Rajyogini BK Savita said that Youth must adopt Self discipline and always have positive thoughts in mind. They should awaken the intrinsic values and powers that are lying dormant in them. She said that learning and practicing Raja Yoga is the only Royal path to emerge them. Recognition comes in life by good behavior. Therefore she said, “One must be loving, peaceful and compassionate while dealing with others.”

Mr. Baba Prasad expressed his concern saying, “The present younger generation is lured by the Social Media and ruining their own Golden Future.” He said that the energy and patience in every person must not go to waste. The knowledge that is given at the Brahma Kumaris Centers for Self realization is very appropriate and useful in human life. He suggested that every individual must follow their noble teachings.

The young students who came from all educational institutions to attend this program were given the knowledge in brief about positive thinking, cleanliness, purity and Raja Yoga. They were cordially invited to come to the Center, to learn in detail and make their lives brighter and useful, and to participate in the project, “Mera Bharat Swarnim Bharat” (My India, Golden India).

The function was organised by BK Kavita and BK Bharati, Center Incharge of Machilipatnam. Many delegates from various Brahma Kumaris Centers participated to make the rally colourful and successful.
