Spiritual Invigoration of the New Year by Brahma Kumaris

Karnal, Haryana :

A New Year’s program was organized by the Brahma Kumaris Centre at Sundar Nagar, Kisan Basti in Nilokhedi, Karnal. In the program chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Marketing Committee, Balbir Sharma, Jai Bhagwan Sikri, Head of the Market Committee, was invited as the Chief Guest. BK Prem from Karnal was in attendance as the prime speaker.

BK Prem said that the happiness that we desire in life is not available in material things. And for that, we have to choose the path of spirituality. She said that positive thoughts are like anchors, which guide life in the right direction. Hence, we must only choose the right thoughts, which give the right direction to the society.

BK Sangeeta, Centre In-charge, said that to experience peace in life, we should have a strong connection with God, the Ocean of Peace. On the occasion, children of the Arya Samaj School performed a song and dance sequence on the theme of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (Save the girl, Empower the girl) for which they were rewarded by the center.

The guests exchanged warm pleasantries and advocated that instead of invoking the year by hitting hotels and pubs, as most do for New Years, one must consider the path of spirituality instead.

ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ सेवा केंद्र सुन्दर नगर, किसान बस्ती, नीलोखेड़ी में नववर्ष के उपलक्ष्य पर एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया | मार्किट कमिटी के उपप्रधान बलबीर शर्मा की अध्यक्षता में हुए इस कार्यक्रम में मार्किट कमिटी के प्रधान जयभगवान सीकरी ने मुख्या अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की| जबकि मुख्या वक्त के रूप में करनाल की प्रेम बहिन उपस्तिथ रही | दीप प्रज्वलित करके कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की| प्रेम बहिन ने कहा की हमें जीवन से जो खुशियां चाहिए वह संसार की भौतिक चीज़ों में बहुत काम मिलती है | भरपूर खुशियों के लिए हमें आध्यात्मिकता का मार्ग चुनना पड़ेगा | शुभ संकल्प जीवन को सही दिशा देते है | इसलिए हमें संकल्प सही और समाज को एक दिशा देने वाले ही लेने चाहिए | स्थानीय आश्रम की संचालिका बहिन संगीता, ने कहा की शान्ति की अनुभूति के लिए हमें शान्ति के सागर परमात्मा के साथ अपना मज़बूत सम्बंद जोड़ना चाहिए | आर्य समाज स्कूल के बच्चों ने बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ गीत व डांस कार्यक्रम किया, जिसके लिए सेवा केंद्र की तरफ से बच्चों को इनाम दिया गया | अतिथियों ने भी सभी आत्माओं को नववर्ष की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा की ज़्यादातर लोग, नया साल, होटलों व् पबों में मनाते है है जो की हमारी संस्कृति के खिलाफ है, इसलिए हमें आध्यात्मिक तरीके से नया साल मानना चाहिए |
