A team of Brahma Kumaris from C- Block, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, conducted a massive cleanliness program under the Prime Minister’s Swachhata hi Sewa Campaign. The clean drive was flagged off by the Head of South Delhi’s Brahma Kumaris centres, Rajyogini BK Asha ji, in the presence of more than 150 BK Sisters and Brothers along with local community members.

This campaign was started with an Oath of 6 major points to continue to make a clean India effort as our regular practice, followed by cleaning the roadsides, corners and parks, etc.

During the clean drive of the area, there was also an awareness reminder by the Brahma Kumaris about external garbage — which is visible and can be taken away from the streets or roads — but what about Internal Negative thoughts, words, actions and Waste Thoughts which are becoming major damages to society at large. Similarly, we need to let go of Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment and Ego.  It should be addressed by humanity as a priority, otherwise this generation as well as the next generation will not be able to lead healthy, wealthy and happy lives.

Members of the rally held ply cards in their hands with very attractive slogans for the public at large. The messages were repeatedly pronounced over the loudspeakers throughout the rally. The publicity pamphlets were also well distributed all around. This really has taken a round of almost all the blocks of Sarita Vihar and the nearby vicinity as well.

The rally was concluded at the District Park of the area where the local Councillor of Madanpur Khadar, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, Shri Brahm Singh ji, received the rally at the park.  He appreciated the efforts made by the individuals as well as the Brahma Kumaris Mission.

Shri Singh was honored with a Godly gift which was presented by Rajyogini BK Pushpa ji, Pul Prehladpur, New Delhi, and Rajyogini BK Rachna, Sarita Vihar. Bhog was served to all the participants.
