World Peace Day Celebrations by Brahma Kumaris in Mauritius

The Brahma Kumaris celebrated World Peace Day at the Art Space and Culture Academy (Espace art et Culture Sanedhip Bhimjee) in Coeur de Ville (Heart of the City), Central Flacq, in Mauritius. The Chief Guest for the day was Stellio Antonio, Director and Editor-in-Chief of East Press and the Public Relation Officer of Coeur de Ville.

The program began with one minute of silence and Lamp lighting. BK Ouvani played a melody on violin. BK Cecile from Reunion Island presented a Flash Mop. Vishwanath sang a song in Creole.

BK Zaida, BK Francine, BK Zeng and BK Lobind presented messages on peace. This was followed by an Angelic Dance and a poem by BK Shyamsundar from Lotus House in Ahmedabad. BK Luxmi and BK Poonam sang an English Song.

BK Surendra from Mount Abu, India, shared his insights on peace followed by Stellio Antonio presenting his views on peace. Thereafter, BK Neeroo, Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris center, addressed the audience.

This was followed by another meditation session and a song sung collectively by all, “I am a Peaceful Soul”.

BK Neeroo felicitated the Guest of the Day with a Godly Gift.
