International Yoga Day at the Polo Ground in Mount Abu

As an observance of International Yoga Day, a program was conducted at the Polo Ground in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, in which nearly 4000 participants assembled with high spirits.
The function commenced with Yoga in which various physical postures called asanas, similar to exercises, were performed. Some breathing control exercises were also practiced. People did all this with great pleasure and enjoyed the whole program heartily.
The function became very lively and colourful because of the presence of many honourable guests and elite personalities of the town. Some of them presented their valuable opinions and appreciations for the efforts taken by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya to make this world full of Peace, Prosperity, Health, Happiness and Love.
Mr. Nishant Jain, SDM, suggested that the participants make Yoga a regular practice to be healthy in life. He said that Yoga and Pranayam (breathing control) must become an inseparable part of life.
Mr. K S Bhandari, Director and Inspector General of CRPF and Internal Security Academy, and Mr. Suresh Thinger, Municipal Chairman, Mount Abu, said that people are taking more interest in Yoga for the improvement of their health. They said that lndia has taken up the responsibility to eliminate the darkness of ignorance from the world and said that only lndia has the capability to unite and bring all the nations on one track of mutual understanding and co-operation among them.

Abu; Mr. Hanumant Singh Dahia, Mr. Sanjay Dhabi, and Mr. Kamlesh Astha from the Patanjali Yogapith; and many BKs and known personalities of the town graced the function. The entire program was very successful.
