Experiential Navdurga and Dassehera Celebration at Lake County, Illinois, USA

The Brahma Kumaris Chapter of Lake County organized an experiential event of Navdurga. Jagdamba as Adishakti was invoked as the first Shakti followed by the nine forms. The spiritual significance and qualities of each of the Navdurga was explained by BK Sister Sonia, and how we can emerge these qualities from within us through meditation was also explained. The Navdurga was followed by celebrating the true Dassehera by finishing Ravan within us. A representation of Ram and Laxman worshipping Shiva and taking power from Shiva to finish Ravan was shown.
