Disaster Management and Cleanliness Campaign by Brahma Kumaris, Agra

The bus carrying the Campaigning Team of Cleanliness and Disaster Management arrived at Taj City of Agra which was received by the local Brahma Kumaris Center, Prabhu Milan, in Idgah, with great cheers and enthusiasm.  They had traveled through various States and cities, including Rohtak, Mujaffarnagar, Meerut, Delhi, Ghaziabad and Mathura, before entering Agra.

The Campaign was a joint venture of the Brahma Kumaris and the Science and Spirituality Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation in Mount Abu, Rajasthan.

To highlight their aim and objectives, programs were arranged at the Brahma Kumaris Center -Prabhu Milan, at the District Collector’s Conference Hall and at the DRM Agra’s Office.

The Team members addressed the audience on various aspects such as the Main Cause of Disasters, its Management, Creating a New Society full of Joy and Peace, Harmony with Nature, Clean Nation Through Clean Character, Balance of Mind at Work Place, Sweetness in Relationship, Value of Mental Balance and Positive Thinking in Disaster Handling and the Importance of Planting Trees, etc. A few such awareness programs were conducted for public.

Chief Guests on these occasions were NCC Group Commander Colonel Vishnu Singh Sikarwar, and Commanding Officer 1 UP NCC Air Squadron Colonel K S Saini. Along with them BK Sheela, BK Asmitha, BK Sonika, Gourav, Jyoti and the Leader of the Campaigning Team BK Bharat Bhushan and his associate BK Amar were present. NCC Cadets of various colleges were in the audience, and listened to the speakers with rapt attention. Lastly everyone took a pledge to follow strictly the knowledge given and cooperate to create a better society.

BK Ashwini Aabey, Prabhu Milan Idgah Centre In Charge, delivered the welcome speech and cordially honored the Guests; she then offered them Saplings to be planted as a First Step taken to control Natural Disaster.
