Miss Botswana 2018 Visits Brahma Kumaris Centre in Gaborone, Africa

Miss Botswana 2018 visited the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana, in Southern Africa. A group of 13 teenagers aspiring to be leaders joined her to learn about the services of the BK Centre. Lillian Moremi introduced her to BK Sister Kanan, who blessed her for success in the competition for Miss Universe in China this month with CDs on Knowing Myself by BK Sister Jayanti and a book called Mindset by Mike George.
Miss Botswana shared her life journey of how she was a shy and skinny girl who had no beauty and over time, because of her hard work and mother’s love and support, reached a point in her life that she became interested in beauty pageantry. She entered the pageantry as an opportunity to approach the community at large and use it as a platform to serve others. She talked about the importance of Hard work, Following your dreams and Loving the self.
“You can be whatever you want, a doctor, a beauty queen, a Brahma Kumari sister who teaches meditation and inner focus, but do it with your heart and not for money, name, fame or titles.”
