“Responsibility with Humility” Foreign BK Instruments Retreat at Manmohinivan

A NIMIT (Instruments) Retreat was held in Manmohinivan Complex, Global Auditorium, on Abu Road, which was specificially organised for BK Centre Residents, Gita Pathshala Coordinators and Right Hands of BK Centres living abroad. The retreat was well-received by more than 150 participants from 20 countries (in alphabetical order), namely, Australia, Canada, China, Finland, France, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, UK, US and Vietnam.

After the retreat, participants felt very good to great, blessed, content, more confident, enlightened, full of enthusiasm, grateful, inspired, empowered, enriched, uplifted, relaxed, happy, light, refreshed, rejuvenated, being cared for, sustained, wonderful and powerful. Some participants were inspired to organize a similar retreat back in their home country for those who could not make it for this retreat.

There were varieties of topics covered in different sessions, and the participants appreciated the classes and interviews with Regional Coordinators and all other seniors; workshops; reflective sessions using journaling, letter to God and reply from God; reading avyakt murli related to NIMIT collectively in silence; yagya (BK) stories shared by seniors; drishti (divine vision) from Dadis and amritvela with seniors.  Dadi Janki spent time with all the instruments and gave deep and powerful drishti.

Some realisations and attainments achieved by the participants during the retreat were:
• increased instrument consciousness recognising the self is a true loving instruments of God
• became more introverted • discovered newness in making effort, felt renewed in efforts
• experienced closer connection with God • gained deeper knowledge about dos and don’ts living in BK centre/ service place • realised love for others should be the same as Baba’s love for me
• increased soul consciousness  • determined to go into the depth of murlis and yoga
• giving the self quality time for self progress  • keeping attention on attitude and total self
• renewed with better understanding of serving the self and others • taking responsibility is all about growing in my qualities; purifying my sanskars; turning from expectations to taking responsibility.
