Gurugram (Haryana): The Brahma Kumaris organised an Akhil Bhartiya Geeta Mahasammelan (All India Mega Conference on the Bhagwad Gita) at their Om Shanti Retreat Centre in Bhorakalan, Gurugram, for three days. Dadi Janaki, the Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, specifically arrived and inaugurated the Mega Conference by lighting the Holy Lamps, along with Swami Om Giri, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ishwardas, Swami Shivyogi, Swami Gopal Krishna, Justice Mr. V. Ishwaraiah, BK Asha, BK Brij Mohan, BK Usha, Dr. SM Mishra, Dr. Pushpa Pandey, BK Veena and BK Trinath.

“War described in Gita is actually about the War going on inside the Human Consciousness,” this was the statement of Swami Om Giri of Sri Krishna Ashram, Haridwar. He said Gita teaches us the Art of Living. It gives Man knowledge to realize his own Self.

Swami Vivekananda of Siddha Peeth, Sri Maha Kali Mandir, said, “The Object of Gita is to take us to the Peak of Spirituality. It is a Text full of Spiritual Wisdom. Man in this material world believes only that which can be seen. He does not accept anything invisible. But Gita reveals the invisible Truth to us.” He said, “The Supreme Soul is the Truth and that is SHIVA.”

Swami Ishwardas said, “Brahma Kumaris are inculcating Gita in their lives practically and inspiring others too.”

On this occasion Dadi Janki in her special blessing note said that reading and listening to the Gita is not a great thing but implementing its teachings in life is most essential. She said that if we fill ourselves with virtues our life itself becomes Gita. 103-year-old Dadi Janki said, “I have adopted all the teachings of Gita practically in my life. I never read Gita but it reflects in my life which is seen by all.”

BK Asha, Director of ORC, while welcoming all the Guests and the participants, said, “Spiritual Power is the greatest of all Powers due to that Supreme Power itself. India is known to be the World Teacher. India is the Land of Deities but due to non-existence of those higher Divine Virtues in us we have forgotten our Superior Indian Cultures. Imbibing those Virtues in life, we can reinstate them with the help of Spiritual Power.”

Additional General Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris, BK Brij Mohan, said, “The motto of this Mega Conference is to enlighten people with the Truth of the Knowledge of Gita. The Ancient Deity Religion of India was founded by the Wisdom of Gita. But today since we forgot our Original Religion, we claim ourselves to be Hindu.” He said that God has given Knowledge of Gita not for violence but to create great Deity Religion once again which is based on Non-Violence.

BK Usha, exponent in Bhagvat Gita and Ramayana, from Mt. Abu, said that no one having Mortal Physical Body can be called God. He is non Physical, Immortal and Truth while Body is Perishable. So Gita Knowledge has been given by the Supreme Soul, Shiva. We call Him as “Satyam, Shivam, Sundram,” meaning “Truth, Benevolence and Beauty.”

A few more eminent Scholars and Saints also presented their views while BK Manorama handled the program very pleasantly.

In the closing session of Gita Maha Sammelan, Saintly Lady Vijay Laxmi said that Feeling of deep Love is essential to come closer to God. Swamy Shivyogi of Haridwar said that the War described in Gita actually signifies the War on our five internal negative traits.

Swamy Gopal Krishnanand from Hyderabad stated that practical application of Gita’s teachings is more important than mere verbal utterances. It is really needed at the present hour.

During these three days, debates and discussions on various subjects were held in the program. Each and every one came out with their views for the good of mankind and unanimously pronounced that by holding such meetings society receives some good messages. It inspires men to indulge in noble deeds in their lives. BK Usha from Mount Abu well co-ordinated the closing session.

गीता में वर्णित युद्ध वास्तव में मानव के अन्दर चलने वाले द्वन्द का प्रतीक है। उक्त विचार श्रीकृष्णा आश्रम हरिद्वार से पधारे स्वामी हरि ओम् गिरी जी महाराज ने ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के ओम् शान्ति रिट्रीट सेन्टर में व्यक्त किये। तीन दिवसीय अखिल भारतीय गीता महास66ोलन में बोलते हुए स्वामी जी ने कहा कि गीता हमें जीवन जीने की कला सिखाती है। गीता मानव को उसके सत्य स्वरूप का बोध कराती है।

सिद्धपीठ श्री मंगला काली मंदिर, हरिद्वार से आये स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि गीता का उद्देश्य हमें आध्यात्म के शिखर पर ले जाना है। उन्होंने कहा कि गीता एक आध्यात्मिक ग्रन्थ है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के भौतिक जगत में मानव उसे ही सत्य मानता है जो उसे दिखाई देता है। जो दिखाई नहीं देता उसे स्वीकार नहीं करता। लेकिन गीता हमें उस सत्य से अवगत कराती है। उन्होंने कहा कि परमात्मा ही सत्य है और सत्य ही शिव है।

ऋषिकेश से पधारे स्वामी श्री ईश्वरदास जी महाराज ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था वास्तव में गीता को जीवन में उतारने का एक बेहतर कार्य कर रही है।

इस अवसर पर विशेष रूप से ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ की मुख्य प्रशासिका राजयोगिनी दादी जानकी जी ने अपने आर्शीवचन में कहा कि गीता पढऩा और सुनना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है। लेकिन गीता को जीवन में लाना सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब हम अपने जीवन को गुणों से भर देते हैं तो हमारा जीवन ही गीता बन जाता है। १०३ वर्षीय दादी जी ने कहा कि गीता की सभी शिक्षाओं को मैंने सम्पूर्ण रूप से अपने जीवन में उतारा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं गीता नहीं पढ़ती लेकिन मेरे जीवन से सभी को गीता नज़र आती है।

ओआरसी की निदेशिका राजयोगिनी आशा दीदी ने अपने वक्तव्य से सभी का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि आध्यात्मिक सत्ता ही सर्वोपरि है। उन्होंने कहा कि आध्यात्मिक सत्ता के कारण ही आज तक भारत विश्व गुरू कहलाता है। भारत देवभूमि है लेकिन आज उन देवी मूल्यों का ह्रास होने के कारण हम अपनी उस महान संस्कृति को भूल चुके हैं। आध्यात्मिक शक्ति के आधार से हम उन मूल्यों को जीवन में धारण कर महान देवी संस्कृति की स्थापना कर सकते हैं।

संस्था के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बी.के. बृजमोहन ने गीता महासम्मेलन के महत्व को स्पष्ट करते हुए कहा कि गीताज्ञान की वास्तविकता को लोगों के सामने लाना ही हमारा उद्देश्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि गीताज्ञान से ही भारत में आदि सनातन देवी देवता धर्म की स्थापना हुई थी। लेकिन आज हम देवी संस्कृति को भूलकर अपने को हिन्दू कहलाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि गीताज्ञान परमात्मा ने किसी हिंसा के लिए नहीं बल्कि श्रेष्ठ धर्म की स्थापना के लिए दिया। और धर्म का मूल तो अहिंसा है।

माउन्ट आबू से पधारी बी.के.उषा ने कहा कि किसी भी शरीरधारी को परमात्मा नहीं कह सकते। परमात्मा को हम सत्य अथवा अविनाशी कहते हैं जबकि शरीर तो विनाशी है। इसलिए गीता का ज्ञान स्वयं परमात्मा शिव ने दिया। शिव को ही हम सत्यम शिवम सुन्दरम कहते हैं।

कार्यक्रम में शिवयोगी धाम हरिद्वार से स्वामी शिव योगी जी महाराज, कुरूक्षेत्र से डा. एस.एम.मिश्रा, हैदराबाद से स्वामी गोपाल कृष्णानंद जी, जस्टिस वी. ईश्वरैया, बी.के.त्रीनाथ, डा. पुष्पा पाण्डे, बी.के. वीना आदि अनेक विद्वान व1ताओं ने भी अपने विचार रखे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन बी.के.मनोरमा ने किया।

कार्यक्रम के समापन सत्र में बोलते हुए साधवी विजयलक्ष्मी ने कहा कि परमात्मा के निकट आने के लिए प्रेमभाव ज़रूरी है। हरिद्वार के संस्थापक स्वामी शिव योगी जी महाराज ने कहा कि गीता वर्णित युद्ध वास्तव में विकारों पर जीत पाने का प्रतीक है। हैदराबाद से पधारे स्वामी गोपालकृष्णानंदा जी महाराज ने कहा कि उच्चारण से ज़रूरी है आचरण। उन्होंने कहा कि गीताज्ञान की असली आवश्यकता तो इस समय है।

तीन दिन तक चले महासम्मेलन में अनेक विषयों पर गोष्ठियां और परिचर्चायें हुई। मेहमानों ने सम्मलेन में अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार के सम्मेलनों से समाज में एक सकारात्मक संदेश जाता है। इस प्रकार के आयोजन मानव को श्रेष्ठ कर्म के प्रति प्रेरित करते हैं। कार्यक्रम का संचालन बी.के. उषा ने किया।
