All India Conference of Transport and Tourism Industry in Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu

The Brahma Kumaris and the Transport and Tourism Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation jointly organized a Convention for the personnel of the Travel and Tourism Industry on the topic “‘Speed, Safety, Spirituality” for which a large number of delegates from all over lndia came to attend.

The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamps at Gyan Sarovar’s Harmony Hall in Mount Abu by the elite guests.

The Vice President of Transport and Tourism Wing, Rajyogini BK Divya, presided over the program. She welcomed all the participants with her blessings and best wishes. She said, “Speed is no doubt necessary but Safety is equally required. So also Safety of Mind is too important. Thus when Mind is Safe, Body will naturally be Safe. If Mind remains Peaceful, only then it is Safe, and for Peace of Mind, Raja Yoga practice is essential.”

National Co-ordinator of the Transport and Travel Wing BK Kunti said that the Driver always keeps attention on traffic rules and regulations, but is he also careful in maintaining sweet mutual relationships in life? Road safety begins with our own safety. Raja Yoga helps in observing road safety successfully.

The Chief Telecom Engineer of the Central Railway in Delhi, Mr. S.P. Upadhyay, said that day by day there is an increasing demand to enhance Speed. With this, the tension on the Mind also increases and so the need of more Safety arises. Here Spirituality becomes necessary for Safety.

Mr. Ity Pandey, the Chief Commercial Manager, Western Railway, said, “This Seminar tells us that when we are busy in work we must be fully attentive. Only then can we justify with Speed and Safety. We must never get waved with emotions. Spirituality helps a lot in this matter.”

The General Manager of Haryana Tourism Corporation, Mr. Dilawar Singh, said that three things are very important in Tourism: Attraction, Accommodation and Travel. We can learn to keep the Concentration of Mind stable only by Spirituality.

The IPS Officer and ADG of Traffic, Rajasthan, S. Parimala, expressed her feelings.  Pooja Mehra, Corporate Director, MPT Pvt. Ltd., said, “Spirituality in Tourism is vital and therefore we all have to work in that direction.”

BK Suresh, Co-ordinator of the Transport and Travel Wing at Mount Abu Head Quarters, gave the details of various service activities by this Wing.  BK Bindu efficiently anchored the program.  BK Motilal gave the vote of thanks to all the participants for attending with high spirits, making the seminar very lively and successful.
