BK Shivani has been a practitioner and a teacher of Rajyoga Meditation that is at the heart of the teachings of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization, since 1996.

First telecast in 2007, her widely popular television show aimed at self-transformation, Awakening With Brahma Kumaris enjoys the rare distinction of having completed 2,000 episodes. For over a decade, the show has empowered individuals from all walks of life in India, USA and Canada, UK, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East and South-East Asia. Viewers have overcome mental stress, depression, addictions, low self-esteem and unhappy relationships, by taking personal responsibility of their emotions.

In March 2019, BK Shivani was awarded the prestigious Nari Shakti Puraskaar, the highest civilian honor for women in India, for her role in transforming human behaviours. The award was conferred by His Excellency Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, the Honorable President of India. Since 2017 she has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador by the World Psychiatric Association. For her excellence in empowering Spiritual Consciousness, she was honored with the Women of the Decade Achievers Award by ASSOCHAM Ladies League in 2014.

BK Shivani’s TV show Happiness Unlimited is adapted into a book owing to its success. The book in India qualified into the Amazon Best-Reads List and went on to be the No.1 bestseller in the Religious and Spiritual section. Her second book Being Love has been released early this year.

Having traveled to over 35 countries across the globe across USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Africa, South-East Asia and Middle East, she has delivered over 3,500 talks overseas and in India. She shares simple, practical wisdom through diverse platforms like public programs, television shows, discussion panels, interactive workshops, retreats, seminars, corporate events, social and community development initiatives, radio shows and social media outlets.

At Silicon Valley, USA, she has addressed corporate giants such as Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Amazon and Intel. She has also spoken at business houses like Reliance, Maruti Suzuki India, Indian Oil Corporation, Godrej Industries Ltd., Sony Entertainment Television, Airtel Mobile Services, Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., GE Energy, Asian Paints, Times of India, to name a few. Apart from the YPO, FLO and EO Chapters, Indian Armed Forces, she also speaks at the Rotary International and Lions Clubs International. She has been invited by pan-Indian premier schools, colleges, management institutes and leadership institutes like IIM, IIT and so on. The Indian Medical Association of all the major cities of India have invited her for talks on mind-body-medicine. BK Shivani actively promotes Organ Donation initiatives. Besides, she is part of a team which along with FOGSI, has developed ‘Adhbut Maatrutva’, a unique programme that explores scientific & spiritual principles of Divine Garbh Sanskar, for expecting parents.
