Brahma Kumar Awarded with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award 2018

BK Suryamani was awarded with the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award 2018 for his outstanding contribution in the promotion of social justice and olympism through social responsibility.

The program was organised by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Sports Foundation at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  Out of 83 awardees from different corners of India, BK Suryamani, National Co-ordinator of Divyang Seva (Department of Deaf, Blind and Dumb), Brahma Kumaris HQ, Mount Abu, was one of them. He has been rendering service for the Visually and Hearing Impaired since 2009 in many States of India. This service has reached the UK, Africa, Trinidad, Nepal, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Shri Ramdas Athawale, the Minister of State Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, graced the occasion with his kind presence as Chief Guest. Master Bhupendra Kumar Bharat, President of the Dr. B.R Ambedkar Sports Foundation, felicitated the awardees.
