Brahma Kumaris at Pan African Human Rights Summit at Nairobi, Kenya

The 2nd Pan African Sustainable Peace and Human Rights Summit was held in Kenya in 2018 by Public Service Governance, an Institution geared towards establishing programs and projects that focus on sustainable peace and realisation of Human Rights globally. The organization has been operating in several parts of the country delivering the same agenda.

60 delegates were welcomed by the Brahma Kumaris with beautiful roses. The session was opened by a catholic priest with prayers followed by guided meditation conducted by Sister Urvashi from Brahma Kumaris. Madame Esther Waringa, President of the PSG shared her inspirations. The Summit aims at delivering on ways of promoting Peaceful Coexistence and full realisation of human rights among the people of Africa.

Mr Jabbal Singh Ambassador for Peace from Sikh Community spoke on Value based Governance, Role of Human Rights Ambassadors towards Peaceful Coexistence.

Sister Pratibha from Brahma Kumaris spoke on Cultivating Individual Inner Peace towards Coexistence in Africa where more light was given on how one can achieve inner peace, creating harmony between the mind which is clean and clear and the heart which is honest and full of unconditional love.

Mrs Rattan Channa from Gobal United Religions Initiative spoke on Role of Inter- religious Harmony in Peace & Human Rights Realisation where she mentioned let us respect and live together as colourful flowers in a garden.

Mr Soloman Meanzi, Principal of Kiambu High School encouraged the role of Education in realisation of Human Rights as we all have a right to live equally on planet earth so let us share instead of being greedy. All delegates were presented with Certificate of Appreciation.
