A ‘Social Symposium and felicitation ceremony of Noble Thinkers’ was organized at Hathras, in Uttar Pradesh. Thinkers from various faiths were invited on this occasion. The event was inaugurated by Jitin Prasada, Former Minister for Human Resource, the Chief Guest for the event.

“There is an atmosphere of racial and religious discrimination in the entire world, especially in India. At such a time, the need of the hour is to maintain harmony among various faiths through the similarities that they share. The Brahma Kumaris organization has been extending spiritual and social service to individuals from all faiths and communities in 140 countries over the world for the last 80 years without any discrimination.” These thoughts were expressed by BK Shanta during the ‘Social Symposium and felicitation ceremony of Noble Thinkers’ at the ‘Sri Dauji Maharaj fair’ conducted by Chandragupta Vikramaditya, City President, Congress, while addressing the audience. Before this, Bina Gupta, Advocate, felicitated BK Shanta.

Jitin Prasada, Former Minister for Human Resource, the Chief Guest of the occasion, said in his address that the political parties must co-operate in maintaining the secular harmony of the nation.

On this occasion, Professor Somesh Rawal, Aligarh Muslim University; Professor Ishrat Alam, Aligarh Muslim University; Dr. Robert Bargiz, Pastor, Saint Francis Church; Vivek Jain Bhaiyya from Mathura; Hafiz Salim, Kazi of the city, etc., also addressed the audience. The event was conducted by Poet Anil Bohre.
