Brahma Kumaris Honored With Shakti Achievement Awards

Delhi: On the occasion of the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women, the 11th National Women Excellence Awards 2018 — part of Yog Vidya Jagriti Abhiyan, International Holistic Health Movement — were organized by the Yog Confederation of India in association with the Indo European Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises at the India International Center in New Delhi. This is a program launched by the North Eastern Council, Government of India.

The Shakti Achievement Awards honor the path-breaking efforts of women who are creating a superior place in the world of women and are given to eminent women from all over India for their services.

For the year 2018, BK Rajani from Kakinada(Andhra Pradesh); BK Geetha from Pandav Bhawan, Mount Abu; and BK Swarna from Janakpuri, Delhi, were among the eminent awardees. The awards were presented by Pratap Singh Bisht, former Member of the Planning Commission, Uttaranchal, and Savita Sharma, a famous Astrologer.
