Brahma Kumaris Inaugurate a Holistic Health Care Centre at Apollo Hospital

Hyderabad (Telangana): The Apollo Hospital has been selected as the best Hospital of the Year consecutively for six years in Hyderabad. A team of doctors from Apollo Hospital visited the Brahma Kumaris at Mount Abu to attend the ‘Mind Body Medicine Conference’. They also visited the Global Hospital and Research Centre and were inspired by the Meditation Room in the hospital. They decided to create a ‘Holistic Health Care Centre’ for patients suffering especially from Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Coronary Artery Disease, etc. Through this they aim to teach Meditation to the patients and research how diseases can be healed by practicing meditation.

This ‘Holistic Health Care Centre’ was inaugurated recently at the Apollo Hospital premises. The dignitaries present at the inauguration were BK Uma Rani from Hyderabad, BK Dr. Sachin Parab, the Dean of the Hospital, the Vice President and the CEO, and leading professors of various departments who are involved in the role of Meditation in healing. A wall-size image of Incorporeal Shiva has been put up in this room.
