“Dedicated Resolve to Protect and Serve Nature” by Brahma Kumaris, Varanasi

A mindless felling of the trees, a brutal waste of water, excessive use of plastic products, and the use of chemicals and agricultural poisonous drugs have not just eroded the fertility of the earth, but it has destroyed all purity and freshness in the atmosphere that man once boasted of. Painfully, while the mind stands buried in the material luxuries and comforts of modern living, the earth mourns the depletion of all its green cover. In a nutshell, the human life and civilization on this globe of earth is endangered by none else but our own life-style.
Similar were the thoughts and feelings expressed by one and all at the Regional Centre of Sarnath of the Brahmakumaris on the occasion of the ‘Rally for Awakening’ of the people with regard to their sacred duty to nature. Regional Media In-charge of the Brahmakumaris BK Vipin Bhai, BK Mohan Bhai and Sister Pradhi Tripathi (representing Mother Nature) waved the Green Flag to send the Rally off on its sacred mission.
Drawing the public’s attention, Rajyog teacher Brahma Kumari Sister BK Dr. Topashi said that it is our thinking that stands reflected in the external life that we seem to enjoy or suffer. We need to purify our thoughts before we can hope to ‘green the earth’.
The Rally was led by Purnima, Priyanka, Puja, Anushka and Kanchan, while Rajkumar, Satyanarayan, Virendra, Suraj, Dr. Dinesh, Munna Rajan, Himanchali, Sarita and others enthusiastically participated. BK Ajit and BK Sister Poonam aroused the sentiments with their awakening slogans and enlightening words.
The auspicious occasion came to its sacred and logical conclusion when the participants planted five trees and pledged to pay due attention to Nature. Senior brother Rajyogi Mohan Bhai expressed his gratitude to the participants on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris.
