Environmental Awareness Rally by Brahma Kumaris, Dhanera

A rally for mass awakening of spiritual and environmental consciousness displaying banners with slogans was carried out by the Brahma Kumaris, Dhanera, Gujarat, accompanied by tree planting. Retired Forester G.N. Patel, Forester N.C. Chaudhary, B.S. Rathod, BK Heena, BK Sonu, and other Brahma Kumars and Brahma Kumaris were present at the event with a tree planting. BK Reshma, Chief Co-ordinator of Brahma Kumaris, Dhanera, appealed to the people of the city that each family must plant at least one tree on this day. Explaining the importance of  trees to derive oxygen, she emphasized planting more and more trees and also suggested that birthday celebrations in the families be accompanied with planting a tree. She also urged avoiding the use of substances that pollute the environment such as polythene.
