Golden Jubilee Celebrations by Brahma Kumaris of Hyderabad

The Brahma Kumaris of Hyderabad conducted the Golden Jubilee celebrations of their spiritual richness at their South Indian Retreat Center, Shanti Sarovar-Academy for a Better World, in Gachibowli.

Dadi Janki Ji, the 103-year-old Tapaswini, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, graced this event. Important guests at the celebration were Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Former Union Minister Bhandaru Dattatreya, Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Swami Goud and Margadarsi Managing Director Shailaja Kiran.

On the occasion, a spiritual museum cum education center – INNER SPACE was inaugurated. The center was constructed to offer spiritual insight to the modern world. The center is set up with a Meditation Room, a Spiritual Art Gallery, facilities for deep spiritual study with 3M (Mind, Matter, Meditation), 3S (Synergy, Science, Spirituality) and Rajayoga Meditation experience. The centre has an AV room that can seat 140 members. The 3S zone at the centre explains spiritual concepts in a scientific way with the help of electrical instruments. The meditation centre is built with elevated roofs to create a feeling of space and unlimitedness.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahamood Ali, former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and Council chairman K Swamy Goud placed a golden Kalasam on the head of Rajyogini Dadi Janki during the inaugural ceremony of INNER SPACE.

Huge flag mast draws attention

Dadi Janki, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, also unveiled the Brahma Kumaris flag on a 100-foot mast. Hundreds assembled at the spot to have a view of the flag-hoisting ceremony. The size of the flag was 30 feet by 40 feet.

Perched on a hillock that overlooks a vast landscape with several modern buildings, mostly software companies, the flag can be seen from as far as a kilometer away.

Dadi Janki Ji  blessed the gathering with her spiritual message stating If you want to be a sample to the world, you must be simple with simple desires and lifestyle. God is the only source of peace to the world. It is time we understood Who am I and Who do I belong to? I am a spiritual being, this body is my costume. I belong to the Almighty Ocean of Peace with God. This is an auspicious time where God Himself is establishing a New Age of Righteousness. His message for us is to be Pure, Truthful, Courageous, Humble and Sweet. Instead of letting our minds wander looking for physical things and worldly attainments, it is time we understand and practice spirituality and make our mind peaceful and our intellect pure.

The celebration was also graced by important dignitaries – Rajayogini Sister Santosh, Zonal Incharge of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Centres; Justice Ganga Rao; Justice Eswaraiah Garu; Eminent Film Director K Viswanath, and Pullela Gopichand. The programme was attended by thousands of Brahma Kumars and Kumaris from the twin cities and from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
