Dehradun, Uttarakhand: A program titled “Global Enlightenment for Golden Age” was organized by the Brahma Kumaris Dehradun’s main branch in Subhash Nagar. It was presided over by the Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand Baby Rani Maurya. Speaking on the occasion she said that the efforts being made by the BK fraternity for universal brotherhood and goodwill are highly significant. The first step to get rid of the caste divisions should be taken by the Brahma Kumaris only. We reap what we sow is the essence of the Gita’s teachings. It is highly appreciable that the Brahma Kumaris are disseminating this knowledge globally to uplift people’s outlook towards life.
The event saw huge participation from the locals who congratulated each other on the New Year.
Special guest and Sanskrit scholar Dr. Budhdev Dharma said that right knowledge is that which builds human character, gives peace to the soul and is universally applicable. But for this, constant practice is a prerequisite. Gratification of the senses does not give lasting happiness. The body is the vehicle whose driver is the soul. Mere preaching’s are irrelevant unless accompanied with attitudinal change. Practice of this right knowledge coupled with renunciation of the irrelevant can usher in the golden age.
Welcoming everyone on this occasion, BK Manju said that if we remain conscious of the fact that we will receive the result of our Karma, only then we would act with discretion and this world would be a better place.
BK Meena said the real identity of a human being is being soul conscious. Self-transformation is possible only with the knowledge of the Supreme Soul, His attributes and powers. Through the practice of Rajyoga the ability and strength to achieve this can be attained.
BK Aarti talked about the Supreme Soul as being the eternal truth of eternal beauty called Shiva. Only the Supreme can know and tell the knowledge of self, God and the Universe with which the Golden Age is possible. She also guided the participants in experiencing deep peace through Rajyoga meditation.

देहरादून। दिनांक 6 जनवरी 2019। प्रजापिता ब्रहमाकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय देहरादून की मुख्य शाखा सुभाष नगर में ’वैश्विक ज्ञानोदय द्वारा स्वर्णिम युग’ शीर्षक कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में महामहिम बहन बेबी रानी मौर्य जी, (राज्यपाल, उत्तराखण्ड) ने कहा कि विश्व बंधुत्व और सद्भाव बढ़ाने के लिये ’बहनों और भाइयों का संम्बोधन बहुत ही सराहनीय है। जाति भेद मिटाने की पहल ब्रहमाकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय को करनी चाहिये। जैसा बोयेंगे, वैसा काटेंगे। गीता ज्ञान भी मानवता का पाठ पढ़ाता है। इश्वर का तरीका है। ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्थान की वैष्विक उपस्थिति इस सत्य ज्ञान के द्वारा मानवता और सत्धर्म की जो सेवा कर रहा है, वह बहुत प्रशंसनीय है।
विषिश्ट अतिथि (संस्कृत विद्वान) डॉ. बुद्धदेव शर्मा जी ने कहा कि ज्ञान वह जो चरित्र का निर्माण करे, जो शाश्वत और सार्वभौमिक हो, जो आत्मा को सुख दे। किंतु उसके लिए निरंतर अभ्यास करना पड़ेगा। तन रथ है, बु़िद्ध सारथी है। इन्द्रियों के सुख में सच्चा सुख नहीं है। सिद्धांत बनाने से कुछ नहीं होगा – आचरण चाहिये। ऐसे ज्ञान, अभ्यास और वैराग्य से स्वर्णिम संसार आ सकता है।
ब्रह्माकुमारी मंजू बहन जी ने आशीर्वचन देते हुये कहा कि यदि हम ये सोच रखें कि हम जैसे कर्म करेंगे, वैसा फल हमें अवश्य मिलेगा, तो भी हमारे जीवन में परिवर्तन आ जायेगा और यह संसार स्वर्णिम बन जायेगा।
ब्रह्माकुमारी मीना बहन जी ने कहा कि अपनी सच्ची पहचान है आत्म स्वरूप। आत्मा के सत्य ज्ञान, गुण, शक्तियों को जानकर ही हम स्व परिवर्तन कर सकते हैं। राजयोग अभ्यास से हमारे अंदर स्व परिवर्तन की दृढ़ता और शक्ति आती है।
कार्यक्रम में ब्रह्माकुमारी आरती बहन जी ने ईश्वर के सत्यम् – शिवम् – सुंदरम् की महिमा याद दिलाते हुये कहा कि सत्य ज्ञान सत्य ईश्वर से ही मिलता है ।जो आत्मा, परमात्मा और सृष्टि की सही पहचान देते हैं। जिससे ही विश्व में स्वर्णिम युग आता है।
कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में ब्रह्माकुमारी आरती बहन जी ने सभा को राजयोग अभ्यास में गहन शांति का अनुभव कराया। दीप-प्रज्ज्चलन से कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत हुई। मंच संचालन कार्यक्रम के आरम्भ में ब्रह्माकुमार शुशील भाई जी ने किया।
सभा में बड़ी संख्या में भाई-बहन मौजूद थे जिन्हें नव वर्ष की कोटि-कोटि बधाई दी गई।
