On International Youth Day, a walk was carried out for the respect of young women under the theme “Let’s Walk for Young Women’s Dignity” by the Brahma Kumaris and the Youth Association of Gwalior.

Dr. Rajendra Kachawa and Dr. Rakesh Kanchan were present as the chief guests for the program along with Rajyogini BK Adarsh, BK Prahlad and others.

BK Adarsh, addressing the crowd, said that youth is the base, future, and backbone of the nation but the same youth are now deviating and misusing their powers by indulging in addictions, and have forgotten their roles and responsibilities, which they have to realize now. They also need to respect their parents, teachers, elders and the society at large, and specifically women of all ages. They have their responsibility to keep a pure intention and respect for all.

The Brahma Kumaris is always involved in going around to various villages and cities to create the awareness of “Youth Awakens, the World Awakens” and fill the self with the powers of supreme power and fly high with high spirits to curb all the illnesses spreading in the world.

Along with the above message, Rajyogini BK Adarsh, again emphasizing on giving women a respectful place in the nation, made everyone take the following pledges:

  1. I will keep a respectful eye on every woman.
  2. I will always make effort for the safety of every woman of the society.
  3. I will be a wall against anyone who keeps or does anything with wrong intention against women.
  4. I  will work on creating a divine youth association for making women the respect of the nation.
  5. I will also make an effort to move forward 10 other youth in this direction.

Dr. Rajendra Kachawa congratulated everyone present for the occasion and said that everyone has to keep an eye on their thoughts and to suppress any negative thought and help in the nation’s progress.

Dr. Kanchan also gave the message to the youth to free themselves from all addictions and keep themselves healthy and work selflessly for the nation.
