“Life of Blessings” BK Family Retreat at Peace Village, New York, USA

It was a full house at Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center, in Haines Falls, New York, where BK Sister Mohini, Regional Director of the Brahma Kumaris in Americas, inspired everyone on the theme of the retreat “Life of Blessings:  Receiving and Giving Blessings,” which was held for BK Teachers and students from different parts of the New York area including Global Harmony House of Long Island, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

BK Sister Sheilu, based at the Headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu, was invited as a special guest for this retreat at Peace Village.  She said, “This is a most wonderful family that gives blessings. We are all blessed children of God. We have received and we give so many blessings. Only the one who is full and fully satisfied can give blessings.”

She brought a powerful energy of enthusiasm, intoxication for being an instrument for God, and an in-depth vision for the new BK students of the early days in Mount Abu with Brahma Baba, Mama, and the BK family.

“Kumars Day” was celebrated with a cake cutting and blessings. BK Anjani, BK Carmen, BK Sandhya and BK Kala from Peace Village well-facilitated this powerful and loving program.
