My Village, Clean, Healthy and Happy Village – A Seminar for All Village Heads

“Village Heads can make their Village as Gokul Village.” These were the versions of Rajyogini BK Trupti, the National Co-ordinater of the Rural Development Wing from Surat, Gujarat. She was the Special Invitee to address the Seminar for all the Village Heads, “My Village, Clean, Healthy and Happy Village,” organised by the Brahma Kumaris Centre in their auditorium at Janpad Vikas Bhawan in Kasgunj (UP).

With her sweet but powerful welcoming oration she said, “Since ancient times the soil of Indian Culture is filled with the seeds of Goodwill and Compassion. That is our real Identity. Alas today it has become greatly degraded. If only every Village Head can keep his village clean and free from pollution, the inhabitants will become healthy and every home will be filled with happiness.” She rather insisted all the Village Heads to use their official capacities to re-establish happiness, greenery all around, and restrict their people from intoxicating bad habits then she assured that their village no doubt will become Gokul Village once again.

The District Collector Mr. R.P. Singh said, “Brahma Kumaris are visiting village to village and campaigning for cleanliness and pollution-free, healthy environments. Jobs to be done by the Government and the Public Representatives, Brahma Kumaris are able to accomplish very easily and effectively. Their efforts are truly praiseworthy.” He further said, “We simply blame others for everything but we must introspect ourselves to see whether we are responsible for our failures to render such progressive social services? So we must be the first to start doing that from our end.”

Rajyogini BK Saroj said that as Souls our original qualities are Goodwill, Mercy, Compassion and Love.

On this occasion, District Development Officer Mr. S.N. Srivastav, Project Director DPRO Raj Kumar of Dinkar, Joint Block Development Officer Mr. Munavvar Hussein, Block Development Officer Mr. Kamal Kant, Mr. Pramod Kumar Vasishta, Pravin Kumar, Mr. Ramayan Singh Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav, Ram Rakshapal Gupta and many others were present.
