Rally for “Clean India, Healthy India” by Brahma Kumaris, Indore

The Om Shanti Bhawan, New Palasia Centre of the Brahma Kumaris in Indore Zone, organized in Udai Nagar the first rally under the Government of India Campaign with the theme of “Clean India, Healthy India”. Speaking on this occasion, BK Narayan bhai, who is also a member of the National Executive Committee of the Religious Wing, said that it is the prime duty of every citizen of the country to keep his or her surroundings clean. That would save us from a lot of many seasonal ailments. While the cleanliness of the body comes with taking a bath, the cleanliness of our mind comes with pure and positive thoughts, and the society and country are kept healthy with clean surroundings. The Centre Incharge BK Sister Ranjana said that by organizing this rally the BKs have relayed the message to all citizens that we shall work in cooperation, which will not only make Udai Nagar a clean area, but this will also generate an atmosphere of love and cordiality.

Secretary of Udai Nagar Gram Panchayat, Mr. Umesh, said that this initiative of the Brahma Kumaris will bring an ethical awakening among all the citizens of the area and that will make our village an Ideal ‘Gokul Gram’. The rally was flagged off by the senior citizens and social-welfare organizations. The children of the Sewa Bharti Organization also helped in awakening people about the mission and vision. Prominent dignitaries on the occasion included Dada Ram Lal, Narendra bhai, and Hira Lal bhai. The villagers made their enthusiastic contribution in initiating the cleanliness effort.
