“Self Governance for Good Governance” Program for Administrators

Jammu: A programme on “Self Governance for Good Governance” was conducted at the Brahma Kumaris main centre on BC Road, in Jammu, for administrators. The Chief Guest was B B Vyas, Advisor to the Governor, who, while speaking on the occasion, said this organization is not only a spiritual organization but the teachings which are provided here are relevant for people from all walks of life.

He said that if all the participants present here start bringing into practice these teachings from this program for Administrators by the Brahma Kumaris, the vices like aggression, greed, lust, ego, corruption, etc., will be eliminated within no time and in a very short time our society will turn into a corruption-free and ideal society.

Rajyogini BK Asha, Director of Om Shanti Retreat Centre, Northern India Campus of Brahma Kumaris, and Chairperson of the Administrators Wing, said that a person cannot rule the world until and unless he rules his own self. She threw light on a very important matter that “I am not the mind but the mind belongs to me. If the mind is mine so we have the right over the thing which belongs to us. When we make the mind our friend then it automatically works according to our will. So in place of governing others we need to govern our own self in order to have a pleasant and positive atmosphere at our work place as well as the society.”

Sharing his experience, Ramesh Kumar, DC Jammu, said that he became aware of the Brahma Kumaris through Peace of Mind TV. “I personally feel that in today’s stressful life we should also conduct such a type of meditation program in our routine life,” he added.

OP Bhagat, Director of Tourism, said that the Brahma Kumaris are making honest efforts towards awakening the society from the deep slumber of ignorance and educating them to inculcate values for a peaceful and happy society.
