“Spirituality – The Power for Unifying All Faiths” Plenary Session of Global Summit cum Expo

Abu Road: On the second day of the Global Summit cum Expo on Science, Spirituality and Environment being held at the Brahma Kumaris Head Quarters, Shantivan campus on Abu Road, a Plenary Session was organized on the topic  “Spirituality: The Power for Unifying All Faiths.”

The session began with Silent Meditation and the guests were welcomed with badges and bouquets by the BK Sisters. Thereafter a Welcome Dance was presented by the performers from Butwal, Nepal.

Dr. Pratap Midha, Medical Director, Global Hospital & Research Centre, Mount Abu, delivered the Welcome Address and inspired the audience with his words of wisdom.

The Distinguished Guests at the event were Kondal Rao, Chairman, Lamco Group of Industries, Hyderabad; Mr. Veerendra Kumar, Metro Editor, Nav Bharat Times, New Delhi; and Mr. Narendra Kumar Bhola, Director General of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi.

The Guests of Honour were Krishna Prasad Dahal, MP, Nepal; Shravan Kumar, Eminent Music Director and Composer, Mumbai; and Sanjay Tandon, State President, BJP, Chandigarh.

The Distinguished Guest of Honour was Dr. B.R. Shetty, Founder and Chairman, NMC Healthcare, UAE.  The Chief Guest was Prof. Ram Shankar Shinde, Minister for Water Conservation and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai.

“The Brahma Kumaris are bringing a valuable and remarkable change by uplifting human values in the society. I felt the vibrations of peace and purity as I entered the Shantivan premises,” said the Chief Guest of the event, Prof. Ram Shankar Shinde, Minister for Water Conservation and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra.

“The aim of the organisation is so divine and high; I am highly impressed with the love and honor received here,” said Shri Ram Sewak Sharma, Chairman, TRAI – Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, New Delhi.

BK Prabha, Director, Brahma Kumaris, Bharuch, enlightened the audience about Meditation and took them on an inner journey through guided meditation. Spiritual experiences were shared by BK Deying Chen, Director, Brahma Kumaris, China; and Shri Shri 1008 Venabharatiji Maharaj, Pithadhishwari, Shri Kapikul Sidhapeetham, Nashik. BK Santosh, Director, Maharashtra Zone, inspired the audience with spiritual wisdom. Dr. Nirmala, Director, Brahma Kumaris, Australasia, showered her blessings through elevated words.

Finally, the Vote of Thanks was presented by BK Harish Bhai, Head Quarters Coordinator of the Administrators Wing, RERF. The Master of the Ceremony was BK Suman, Senior Rajyoga Teacher, Gyan Sarovar, from Mount Abu.

A magnificent musical performance by playback singers Shraddha Pandit, Shweta Pandit, and Harish Moyal from Mumbai inspired a lot of zeal and enthusiasm in everyone.
