A program on complete health was conducted at Brahma Kumaris centre “Divyadham” in Dhamtari. Speaking on the occassion as Chief Guest, Dr. Dilip Nalge from Mumbai said that the basic reasons for our ill health are the food we eat and improper daily routine of life. He said that we do not know, what, when, how and the quantity of food we must eat. There are 6 seasons in an year and 6 varieties of tastes in our food. We can not eat same food in same quantity in all the seasons. There are only 3 elements in our body that keeps us healthy – Vaat (air), Pith (heat) and Kuff (solid matter). Any imbalance of these 3 elements brings illness. During rains Vaat goes high that causes joint pains. So food which can reduce Vaat must be taken more. During winter Pith rises in the body. If we take more salty, chilli and soury items, they are more harmful for health. That is why as per our Indian culture, the eatables during festivals are prescribed keeping in mind their effects on our health. This helps to have control over health disorders in those seasons. Apart from this never go for walking after dinner, rather one should sit in peace and silence for few minutes. Eating ice cream during night is very harmful for the throat. We must start the day with meditation in the early hour, Brahma muhurt, because at that time our Sub conscious mind is very active and meditation works like Nectar. Therefore that time is named as “Amritvela”. For morning walk 40 minutes from sunrise is very useful for health. Walking speed must be gradually increased which is also very beneficial. He said, there are 7 attributes in every soul. Th385 (1)at’s why it is called Satoguni. These 7 qualities have direct effect on every part of our body. For example, brain has relation with knowledge, purity or celibacy affects 5 subtle organs of wisdom, peace for lungs, love for heart, happiness for digestive system and power is very good for bones and muscles. So always be in your original  soul conscious state. This itself keeps you healthy.

While welcoming Dr. Dipak Nalge, BK Sarla highlighted services rendered by him. She said, on the way back to Mumbai, he visited Brahma Kumaris centre at Indore and lent his services. Earlier also during the campaign, “My lndia, Healthy lndia” project he had paid a visit at Dhamtari. He toured all over lndia to attend many programs to tell every body to keep their health in there own grip. Thousands of people got inspired by him and were benefited by his lectures.
