“Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan” by Brahma Kumaris of Bhanupratappur and Kanker in Chhattisgarh

“Cleanliness is Service“: With this motto under the “Swachha Bharat Abhiyan” initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, the Brahma Kumaris of Bhanupratappur and Kanker took up the task and in this connection arranged a program at their centre. They invited Mr. Nikhil Singh Rathore, the Panchayat and Dist. BJP Youth Wing President, as a Chief Guest and Mr. Chandra Mouli Mishra of Shiva Sena as a Special Guest.  Brahma Kumaris Center Incharge BK Rama was the host on behalf of the organization.

The program was launched by lighting the lamps by the Guests. Initially Mr. Nikhil Singh Rathore and Mr. Chandra Mouli Mishra presented the details of the campaign launched by the Government, and its importance in human life. They praised the Brahma Kumaris for their selfless services and assured that they will provide all necessary help from the Government and by their individual capacity. They expressed all their best wishes for success.

BK Rama welcomed all the guests and expressed her gratitude. She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modiji’s Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan has really brought a good awareness among the people of the country.

As a part of this project, after the function the Brahma Kumaris and their associates cleaned up the surroundings of Bhanupratappur and the Kanker Bus Stand with acid and washing powder and removed all the waste materials. They appealed to the local people to join hands with them and keep the area ever-clean and healthy.

When asked how long this campaign will continue, she said that it will be until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2nd, 2018. Thereafter the Brahma Kumaris will visit weekly to inspect and supervise the service of cleaning to continue for ever.
