Workshop for Journalists on “Developing Inner Powers” by Brahma Kumaris of Noida

With an objective to enlighten the Media persons, a workshop was organised at the Brahma Kumaris center in Noida Sector 26.
The main speakers of the occasion were Rajyogini BK Dr. Rina Didi, Gulmohar Center in charge in Bhopal and State Media Co-ordinator of Madhya Pradesh; Rajyogini BK Poonam from Faridabad; Senior Journalist from Indore Professor BK Kamal Dixit; Mr. Rajiv Nishana, Indian Media Welfare Association President; and Mr. Manohar Singh, Delhi Journalists Association President; seniors including Mr. Vinod Purohit, Dr. Pramod Saini and Mr. Sunil Baliyan, along with BK Sushant, the National Co-ordinator of Media, were present in the Workshop.
The Chief speaker Rajyogini BK Dr. Rina said, “In this hectic life man is passing through the phase of tension. Working in such an atmosphere the level of tension for Media personnel is very high. If only they spare some time early in the dawn and sit in meditation connecting the Self (Soul) with the Supreme Soul our Supreme Father, they get empowered and slowly all their mental tensions will vanish forever from their life. Thereby they will become fully Self Confident and they will be able to perform their job more efficiently.” She said that this process of Union with God is called Raja Yoga. She inspired and asked them to learn this Art of Meditation and find for themselves the Key to Happiness in just 5 minutes. She explained how to implement Raja Yoga in their social life. Speaking about Time Management, she said that one must plan their work schedule in advance and try to follow with determination to save valuable Time.
Rajyogini BK Poonam said, “Journalists have the power to influence others’ thoughts. So first of all their thoughts must be positive and constructive. That is because as we think so our life would become. If we work with worry, sorrow, tension, fear and jealousy in mind, the results are found to be accordingly. So we must always have thoughts full of joy, happiness, peace and goodwill.” She said, “Nothing in the world will change as long as we don’t change ourselves. We never change because we don’t want to sacrifice our comfort zone.”
Professor BK Kamal Dixit from Indore shared his experiences that he had in life by the regular practice of Raja Yoga. He said that the technique of Raja Yoga taught at all Centres of the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is approved by Scientific Research in the world. He said his Will Power and Self-confidence has become unwavering after learning Raja Yoga Meditation.
Other Journalists Mr. Rajiv Nishana, Mr. Manohar Singh, Mr. Vinod Purohit, Dr. Pramod Saini and Mr. Sunil Baliyan all commonly expressed their gratitude, goodwill and best wishes to the Brahma Kumaris and other members. They said, “Everyone in the world wants to gain something from the Media, but here they have been invited by the Brahma Kumaris to take away whatever they can from this Workshop.” They said, “Having come here they are experiencing a deep sense of inner peace, energy and serenity within, which they never had before in life.”
