World Environment Day Program at Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh

Increasing pollution of atmosphere has today become a matter of concern for the world. Various chemicals and poisonous gases are polluting all the five natural elements, earth, water, air etc. The state of human mind is responsible for this. His negative thoughts are polluting the nature, as a result the whole human race is now in danger. Healthy mind creates healthy thoughts. So to have mental health one has to realise that he is a Soul, a Point of Light and must be constantly in memory of God. By this polluted mind becomes healthy. Thereby environment gets purified. These statements were of Rajyogini BK Saroj at Brahma Kumaris centre of Nadrai Gate, on the “International Environment Day” celebrations.

Mr. Ashok Makhija, Senior Manager SBI, said after planting the saplings, it is our own responsibility to take care of the growth.

Mr. Ram Prakash Pal, ‘Pathik’ expressed concern over imbalance in atmosphere being created by excessive cutting of trees. Ex Upper Agriculture Director, Mr. Ram Prakash Chouhan suggested, in order to maintain balance in atmosphere, during rainy season every one must plant one sapling and take for it’s growth.

Mrs. Alaka Makhija, a Social Worker, asked every individual must grow plants in their own compounds. The inaugural lamps were lit by BK Saroj, Mr. Ram Prakash Pal ‘Pathik’, Mr. Ashok Makhija and Mr. Ram Prakash Chouhan.

Later every one took oath  to discard the polythene products in daily use for the safety of the environment. Farmers were given saplings for plantation.

BK Anupam rendered a poem, “Vriksha Mitra”, which means “Tree Friendly” that was appreciated by all.

Mr. Ravindra Pundheer, Mr. Rameshwar, Anju Agrawal,  and many other citizens graced the function.
