“Hum Fit to India Fit” (If I am Fit then India is Fit)

“Greed and Laziness are the Enemies, be aware of them,” remarked Rajyogini BK Dr. Rina during the seminar held at Brahma Kumaris Center in Rohitnagar, Bhopal, on the topic “Hum Fit To India Fit” (If I am Fit then India is Fit).
The Chief Guest was Mr. Pavan, famous Yoga Teacher, Writer and Social Worker, President of Dr. Ganguli Yoga Vidyapith Organisation, Dr. Kavita, Gynecologist at National Hospital and Mrs. Mamta, a Teacher, were the Special Guests of the seminar.
BK Dr. Rina, who arranged this seminar at her centre and the chief speaker, talking on the subject said, “When we are fit then only we can make India fit in all respects. So first of all to keep ourselves fit and firm we need to stay away from two things – greed and laziness. Greed in taking food and laziness obstructs the practice of Yoga. If we win over these two things only then can we make our health better. In order to maintain fitness we must have sound sleep, a pure and holy vegetarian food, practice of Yoga daily, and the company of good people. All these must become our routine. Therefore through Raja Yoga meditation we must try to be healthy and happy on the physical and mental levels. We must be happy with every small thing, then our smile will enhance our fitness.” She said, “If you love your country India, if you want to make it fit, and you want to be fit, then first of all spare some time and adopt simple small ideas to be fit. Keep up with social media and mobile only to the extent it is very much necessary. Because the closer you are with these two, the more hurdles they create in your fitness. Therefore we must use them by having control over the self.”
Addressing the gathering Mr. Pavan Guru invited all to spare some time from their daily life to practice Raja Yoga, to make pranayam as part of the life. While explaining the value of Yoga he said that Pranayam (pran + ayam) means giving a new direction to our life. He gave some tips for keeping good health, saying that if you want to remain healthy then adopt some rules, discipline, and safeguard your God given health.
Mr. Vibhanshu Joshi challengingly asked everyone present in the fitness seminar to think of donating the organs of their body and appealed that by their great sacrifice many may get re-life. To that almost everyone accepted his appeal and promised to donate. He said that we can earn many things by our wealth but with money we cannot buy health. So by keeping in mind our health we must make some changes in our lifestyle.
Dr. Kavita gave tips on what are the items we must add to our diet to keep up our health. She suggested mixed food (khichdi) full of proteins and vegetarian food must be taken.
Mrs. Mamta, Teacher, said that we must give importance to original, seasonal and regional items in our food menu. They are very essential for our life. By including nature-given gifts in our food we can gain health.
On this occasion many honourable persons of the town were present in the seminar. BK Namita gave a vote of thanks to all. In this beautiful seminar 200 rose plants were given as a Godly gift to all the participants. The function was well attended and very successful.
