Diabetes Camp by Brahma Kumaris in Valsad, Gujarat

With an intention to create awareness about diabetes among the greater public, the Brahma Kumaris organized a camp for diabetes patients in Valsad, Gujarat. Dr Shrimant Sahoo, Diabetes Specialist of Global Hospital and Research Centre; BK Usha, Senior Rajyoga teacher; Mr, Bharat Patel, MLA, Gujarat, Chairman of Rotary Eye Hospital; BK Rohit; and BK Rajni were present at the program. The program began with a candle lighting. Dr. Shrimant Sahoo shared tips for diabetes management. He said that for a diabetes patient, only proper diet, exercise and Rajyoga Meditation can help him to survive for his whole life. He also shared that one of the causes of diabetes is tension, and suggested living a tension-free life. He advised walking for at least 20 minutes in the early morning. A large number of people benefited from this camp.
