Live Show of Nine Forms of Goddess Durga in Chhatarpur

On the occasion of the Devi Navaratri festival, the local Brahma Kumaris Centre of Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, organised a Live Display of all the nine forms of Goddess Durga near Ramdev Nursing College on Satai Road in the city.

Daily at 6:30 pm when the curtain was raised, many people among those gathered would perform Aarati to young sisters who were really depicted as live Deities blessing them. They were Goddess of Power Sri Durga, for Wealth Sri Laxmi, for Wisdom Sri Saraswati, and also Sri Ganga, Sri Gayatri, Sri Santoshi, Sri Kali, Sri Vaishnavi and Sri Uma, the purpose for which they are worshipped was revealed by BK Monica.

Small children and artists presented various cultural group dances for the entertainment of the spectators like Garba, Dandia, some solo dances, and a Radha Krishna dance. In the same program an educative Playlet was also enacted on Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.

BK Kalpana shared the spiritual significance of Navratri while BK Kamala and BK Bharti gave the introduction of the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, its activities, and its aim and objectives to the audience.

BK Shailaja, Centre in-Charge of Chhatarpur, welcoming the people with her greetings, shared more information; from all these efforts of the Brahma Kumaris one must receive the inspiration to develop in himself the Divine Qualities of Deities to establish peace and prosperity in society.

During the last two days, a live show of Goddess Mahishasurmardini, the couples Sri Laxmi – Narayan, Sri Sita – Ram, Sri Radhe – Krishna, and Sri Parvati – Shankar were presented before the enthusiastic gathering.  A Navratri Exhibition was also held at Buxwaha, Chhatarpur.
