23rd Disaster Management and Cleanliness Campaign by the Brahma Kumaris
The 23rd Disaster Management and Cleanliness Campaign, organized by the Scientists and Engineers Wing, was organized from Panipat to Gurugram (National Capital Region). It was inaugurated by Mr. Joe Cheng, Chief Executive Officer, Indian Synthetic Rubber Plant, Panipat (Combined Plant of Taiwan and India) at Gyan Mansarovar Panipat.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by 1100 delegates and this compaign was concluded by Mr. Jagdish Yadav, the former Minister, Haryana Government, in the Om Shanti Retreat Center, in the presence of BK Asha, Director ORC, and BK Mohan Singhal, Vice President, Scientists and Engineers Wing. On this occasion, Sh. Krishna from the USA was also present. BK Bharat Bhushan, National Co-Ordinator, Scientists and Engineers Wing, was the Group leader of this campaign. A total of 26 faculty members participated in the entire campaign, in which mainly BK Mahesh (Indore), BK Madhuri (Bhilai), BK Asmita (Cuttack), BK Swaminathan (Mumbai), BK Gaurav (Panchkula), and BK Piyush (Delhi) participated.
During this campaign, there were some 161 programs, including 7 universities, two medical colleges, and many Engineering colleges, Corporate institutes, industries, etc. There were major programs at a few places like I.T.I., Delhi Air Port Authority of India. Shobha Yatra and Press Conferences also took place at some locations. Muzaffarnagar Railway Station was adopted for cleanliness by members of the campaign. A Plantation program was organized on the premises of Hindustan Petroleum.
Participation of Politicians
- Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister, Delhi, welcomed the campaign upon reaching Delhi and also listened to the experiences of the campaign members.
- Smt. Santosh Yadav Vice President, Legislative Assembly, Haryana, welcomed the campaign in Narnaul and expressed greetings.
- Mr. Manish Grover, Minister of State, Haryana, arrived at the center of Rohtak and welcomed all the campaign members.
- Mr. Naresh Kaushik, MLA, Bahadurgarh, welcomed the campaign members.
Actress Participation
Ms. Mrinalali, Film actress, Ghaziabad, participated as the chief guest.
Program by Vice Chancellors
During the campaign, MD University at Rohtak, Rewari University, Central University at Narnaul, Shobhat University Meerut, YMCA University at Faridabad and Sanskriti University at Mathura welcomed the campaign and programs were organized by the Vice-Chancellors.
Program in Refinery
Mathura Refinery and Marketing Division, and the L.P.G. Plant and Rubber Plant of Panipat Refinery also organised programs during the campaign.
Program by the District Administration
District Magistrate, Meerut, and District Magistrate, Agra, organized the program for all district officers.
Program in Bar Associations
The Bar Association at Karnal and Bar Association Hansi also organised program in the Bar Room in the presence of the Judges.
Program at Hospital
Programs were held at Sarvodaya Super Speciality Hospital, Ghaziabad too!
Programs in Hotels
A program was organized in Gurugram in 4 star Hotels – Country Inn and Park Plaza for staff members.
In addition, in Gurugram, many programs were organized in corporate sectors.
आपदा प्रबंधन एवं स्वच्छता अभियान– पानीपत से गुरुग्राम – 2 अक्टूबर से 27 अक्टूबर
वैज्ञानिक व इंजीनियर विंग की और से 23वाँ आपदा प्रबंधन एवं स्वच्छता अभियान का आयोजन पानीपत से गुरुग्राम तक (राष्टीय राजधानी क्षेत्र ) में पड़ने वाले शहरों के निमित आयोजित किया गया जिसका उद्घाटन भ्राता जोए चेंग, मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी, इंडियन सिंथेटिक रबर प्लांट, पानीपत (ताईवान एवं भारत की संयुक्त प्लांट) ने ज्ञान मानसरोवर में पधार कर किया!
इस उद्घाटन समारोह में 1100 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया एवं इसका समापन भ्राता जगदीश यादव, पूर्व मंत्री ,हरियाणा सरकार ने ओम शांति रिट्रीट सेंटर में पधार कर आदरणीय राजयोगिनी आशा, निर्देशिका ओ. आर . सी, एवं राजयोगी मोहन सिंगल, उपाध्यक्ष, वैज्ञानिक व इंजीनियर विंग की उपस्थिति में किया गया ! इस अवसर पर स्वामी कृष्ण देव, यू .एस .ए भी उपस्तिथ थे ! इस अभियान के ग्रुप लीडर बी.के. भारत भूषण, नेशनल को -ओरडीनेटर, वैज्ञानिक व इंजीनियर विंग थे ! पूरे अभियान में कुल 26 फैक्लटीस ने भाग लिया जिसमे मुख्यतः बी.के. महेश (इंदौर), बी.के. माधुरी (भिलाई), बी.के. अस्मिता (कटक), बी. के. स्वामीनाथन (मुंबई), बी.के. गौरव (पंचकुला), बी.के. पियूष (दिल्ली) थे!
इस अभियान के दौरान लगभग 161 कार्यक्रम हुए जिसमें 7 युनिवर्सिटी, 2 मेडिकल कॉलेज, एवं अनेक इंजीनियर कॉलेज, कारपोरेट, इण्डस्ट्रीस , आई.टी.आई , दिल्ली एयर पोर्ट अथॉरिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया आदि स्थानों पर मुख्त्या कार्यक्रम हुए ! कुछ स्थानों पर शोभा यात्रा एवं प्रेस कांफ्रेंस भी हुई मुज़फ्फ़रनगर में रेलवे स्टेशन पर अभियान दल के बी.के. भाई -बहनों द्वारा स्वछता की गई !
हिन्दुस्तान पेट्रोलियम के तत्वाधान में वृक्षारोपण का कार्यक्रम किया गया।
