Children’s Day Program on “Conservation of Energy” by Radio Madhuban

Mount Abu (Rajasthan) :  To celebrate Children’s Day on November 14, 2018, Radio Madhuban for Rural Community Development, part of the Brahma Kumaris, organised a special program for Children on “Save Energy” at Mungthala Higher Middle School.

The program is part of a National Campaign for Energy Conservation. Schoolchildren — both boys and girls — learned simple ways to Save Energy by controlling wasteful uses at their homes. They were given to understand the harmful effects of excessive consumption of energy on the environment, bad changes in atmosphere, and universal rise of temperature, which are very injurious to mankind. Mr. R. J. Arashi tried to bring awareness in the young generation by showing a documentary film as to how energy can be saved.

Mrs. R. J. Shubhasri explained to them some easy methods to save energy in their homes through a Power Point presentations. Thus all the children were inspired to become like a Soldier of Energy Conservation Force and serve the Nation.

Smt. Veena, a Children’s Right Social Worker from Mumbai, contributed to the message of saving energy by means of a Puppet Show which was seen by more than 400 Schoolchildren.

The entire program was very much educative for the children and it was attended by the School Principal Mrs. Sunita Sharma with all her teachers and Staff Officials of Radio Madhuban also.

On this occasion all those who participated along with the students took an oath to save all kinds of energy for the sake of National Progress for the good of the entire World.
