Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityanath Visits Brahma Kumaris Yogic Farming Exhibition

Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh): Impressed by the services that Brahma Kumaris rendered to the farmers during Mega Festival of Krushi Kumbh(Agriculture fair) in Lucknow last month, Government of Uttar Pradesh sent an invitation to Brahma Kumaris asking them to install their “Sashwat Yogic Kheti”(Consistent Yogic Farming) Exhibition at Atal Gaon, an area dedicated to Honorable Ex Prime Minister of India, Late Mr. Atal Behari Vajpey. This Krushi Kumbh Festival is conducted every year by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, but this is the first time ever such an offer was given to Brahma Kumaris which is a matter of honor. More so, government has provided all the infrastructure to put up the Exhibition freely. They named the demarcated area as “Atal Gaon”(Stable Village) and declared that as “Atal Virasat, Atal Sanskruti”, it means Stable Property, Stable Culture”.

In this Festival a model of ‘Atal Gaon’, that is a ‘Stable Village’ was made in which a combination of Village Traditions, Cultures and modern Technology were shown.

On the offer of the Government, Brahma Kumaris of Tripathi Nagar Centre in Lucknow have put up a very beautiful, attractive, educative and inspirational exhibition depicting the theme,” Sashwat Yogic Kheti is the Foundation of Peace and Happiness. In this Exhibition Brahma Kumaris have specifically demonstrated that due to impure polluted food, hospitals are filled with patients and due to impure polluted minds courts are filled with legal cases. So if food and mind are purified the world will get filled with Peace and Happiness or Rama Rajya(Kingdom of Rama) will get established on Earth.

This Mega Festival was inaugurated by Yogi Adityanath, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He personally went through Brahma Kumaris Exhibition Stall in detail. Along with him, many other Ministers, District Collectors, Chief Development Officers and other higher Officials of UP Government were there keenly studying the stall.

Before the inauguration, Mrs. Samyukta Bhatia, Mayor was there for about 10 minutes listening to the entire process of Yogic Farming. She was very much impressed and assured them for all help possible within her capacity.

Mr. Surya Pratap Shahi, Agriculture Minister of Uttar Pradesh; Mr. Soraj Singh, Director of Agriculture; Mr. Ram Shabd Jeswara, Upper Agricultural Director; Mr. Sisodia, Joint Agricultural Director  of Lucknow Mandal; Mr. C.P. Srivastav, Deputy Director of Agriculture; Mr. O.P. Mishra, District Agricultural Officer, Lucknow and many others learnt about the Yogic Farming and everyone praised Brahma Kumaris for their services to uplift the poor Indian farmers.

Traditional Farming is a wonderful combination of Organic manures and Power of Raja Yoga by which both food and mind get purified and India of Golden Age will get re-established. In this Exhibition of Yogic Farming a live show was displayed on the crops of Peas and saplings of Orange plant. By a video show through projector, preparation of Natural Insecticide, Organic Manure, value of Earthworms in the field, importance of Native Cows, ill effects of Chemical Fertilizers and procedures of Yogic Farming were shown and explained in detail.

Success stories of the farmers in Uttar Pradesh who have implemented Yogic Cultivation, the services which Brahma Kumaris have been rendering to the farmers – were all shown on the screen to inspire others.

Many dignitaries, thousands of citizens and the farmers are daily visiting the Brahma Kumaris Exhibition and getting motivated.
