Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh): The Sajha Sanskriti Manch (Shared Cultural Forum) and National Unity (Quami Ekta) in Varanasi organised a seminar to discuss ways to establish Peaceful Living with the feeling of Brotherhood among the people hailing from diverse Religious Beliefs.

The Brahma Kumaris were specially invited for this seminar in which BK Saroj, Centre in-Charge of Sriramnagar Colony in Bazardiha, Varanasi, attended. She said, “Today it has become necessary to put Religion into practice. We express our opinions and expect others to do accordingly. Always we point out others’ mistakes or shortfalls and demand them to correct themselves. In this way development of a mutual feeling of Brotherhood and Love is not possible. We have to mould ourselves as per the situation and respect others’ opinions and views.” She said that for the past 82 years, the Brahma Kumaris have been trying to bring together people of various religions, cultures, castes, nations, languages and traditions under One Flag and encourage the bond of Universal relation of Brotherhood and Love. Our slogan itself is, “One God, One World Family.” World transformation is possible by Self transformation. She said that it is a matter of prestige for us because it is going to be accomplished by Indians.

In this program Acharya Susheelji Goswamy Maharaj, Swami Vashishthanand Maharaj, Bishop Eugene Joseph, Moulana Abdul Batin Nomano, Dr. Nirmala Jain, BK O.N. Upadhyay and many such teachers from different religions, and dignitaries from the town, were also present.
